Here are some suggestions about destinations that can be easily reached from our place and some activities available in the surroundings.
Seaside
The beaches of Lignano Sabbiadoro and Grado are less than an hour away.
Mountains
It is a one-hour drive to the Friulian Dolomites Park.
Collio Wine Region
The “Wine Road” (Strada del Vino) and the renowned Collio wine farms are within easy reach.
Cities
Udine, Pordenone, Gorizia and Trieste. Discover the cities of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Locations
The Casarsa della Delizia railway station can be easily reached from our B&B allowing our guests to take train rides to Venice, Udine, Trieste and Pordenone.
The city of Pordenone is just a few kilometers and an easy drive away: it offers a lovely historical center and hosts the famous Pordenone Legge (Pordenone Reads) literary festival and several other exhibits in the Pordenone Fiere exposition center.
In the summertime you may decide to relax on the beach in the seaside resorts of Lignano Sabbiadoro, Grado and Marano Lagunare, while in winter you may reach well-known skiing resorts such as Piancavallo, located only 40 kilometers away.
The most famous Venetian Villa in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Villa Manin, awaits only a few minutes’ drive away with its wonderful park. The nearby Air Force Base is home to the National Aerobatic Team “Frecce Tricolori”, which you might see rehearsing.
Looking for historical hamlets? You can visit the star-shaped city of Palmanova and a 15 minutes away from our B&B is Valvasone, listed in the Borghi più belli d’Italia (most beautiful Italian hamlets) chart.
